INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
As CUMALİ YILMAZOĞLU (YILMAZOĞLU PARK HOTEL), in our capacity as the Data Controller under the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), we wish to inform you through this disclosure text prepared within the framework of Article 10, "Data Controller's Disclosure Obligation," and Article 11, "Rights of the Relevant Person." This information pertains to the purposes for which your personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purposes your processed personal data may be transferred, the methods and legal grounds for collecting your personal data, and your other rights as listed under Article 11 of the KVKK.
Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
Personal data is collected and processed in oral, written, or electronic form by CUMALİ YILMAZOĞLU (YILMAZOĞLU PARK HOTEL) in accordance with the regulations of the Tourism and Revenue Administration and other relevant institutions, as well as the contracts we have entered into. This personal data will be used to provide services related to our company's fields of activity, to improve the quality of these services, to fulfill our company's sales, marketing, and other operational activities, and to comply with data storage, reporting, and information obligations.
Your personal data will not be used for purposes other than those specified above without your explicit consent, and will not be shared with or transferred to third parties, except for legal obligations and official institutions/organizations.
Our company may share your personal data within the country only based on the explicit consent of our customers or in other cases provided for in Article 5/2 of the KVKK, primarily the legislation we are subject to, in order to provide value-added services, opportunities, and facilities to our customers and to increase service quality, with public institutions or organizations authorized to request such data due to legal necessity, provided that adequate precautions are taken.
Method of Collecting Personal Data
A. Hotel activities:
- Room reservation
- Hotel check-in and payment
- Eating/drinking at the hotel bar or restaurant during a stay
- Security cameras in common areas and floor corridors
- Requests, complaints, and/or disputes.
- Participation in marketing programs or events
- Participation in customer surveys (e.g., Guest Satisfaction Survey)
- Online forms (online reservations, surveys, Yılmazoğlu Park Hotel pages on social networks, and other network login systems).
Deletion, Destruction, or Anonymization of Your Personal Data
Your personal data, processed for the purposes specified in this information text, will be deleted, destroyed, or continued to be used by being anonymized by us when the purpose requiring processing no longer exists according to KVKK Art. 7/1, and upon the expiration of the periods determined by law according to Article 138 of the Turkish Penal Code.
Precautions Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
Our company commits to exercising due diligence to protect personal data against unauthorized access or the loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of this information. In the event that such data is acquired by third parties, our company shall immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board.
Other Rights Listed in Article 11 of the KVKK
By applying to our company, regarding your personal data, you have the right to;
a) Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
b) Request information if your personal data has been processed,
c) Learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
ç) Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
d) Request correction if your personal data is processed incompletely or inaccurately,
e) Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,
f) Request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (ç) and (d) to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
g) Object to any outcome detrimental to you resulting from the analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems,
ğ) You have the right to demand compensation for damages in the event that you suffer a loss due to unlawful processing.
